About me: I’ve always loved gardening and have been designing my own gardens over the years without even realising it! I began my garden design journey at the Cotswold Gardening School in July 2021. I graduated with distinction in the following year. This experience opened up a whole new world of creativity and inspiration bringing fresh ideas to my work. My second career has been enhanced by experiences from my first career in administration. I have an eye for detail and am highly organised. I also have great communication skills having worked with a diverse range of people over the years. It’s so important to have collaborative relationships with clients, suppliers and landscapers.
I love to design gardens that enhance the outside spaces of my clients. I listen to their dreams and ideas and bring them to reality. By balancing hard and soft landscaping I create gardens that are harmonious and in tune with the surrounding environment. Selecting the right plant for the right place is at the heart of my planting choices. Sustainability, attracting wildlife and increasing biodiversity within the design process are also so important.
Where possible I will try to use local suppliers and reuse existing materials that may already be in the garden. I also source plants that are peat free whenever possible.
A well designed garden, whatever its size will change how you use your outdoor space. Spending time with your family and friends. Relaxing after a busy day. I will design it to be a stylish, biodiverse and functional sanctuary to be enjoyed by all who enter it.
Importantly I’m fully insured.
