I was excited to have been selected as a finalist for the “Countryside Borders” competition at the Belvoir Castle Flower and Garden Show on the 15 & 16 July 2023. Brought to the stunning grounds of Belvoir Castle by Halcyon Days Garden events and sponsored by The London School of Garden Design , the competition gives new designers the opportunity to build a show border from scratch in an informal and encouraging environment. I had a fantastic weekend meeting so many interesting people (fellow designers and visitors) and was so grateful for all the positive comments about my concept design. It was so encouraging to hear that there is an increasing understanding of the importance of biodiversity and sustainability in our garden spaces.
